John 1:9

9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.

God’s Word is the Truth, but by the very statement, “the true Light”, let’s us know that there must be a false truth.  The more our world gravitates away from God the false light grows and grows. When I was young the lines between right and wrong would blur a little but today there is a chasm between the truth and the false. Falsehoods are paraded in the streets as truth, as sin distorts men’s thinking. To keep ourselves from falling prey to the false light we must arm ourselves with God’s Word. May we become so full of the Light that the darkness flees is my prayer.
