1 John 1:8

 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 

“Nobody’s perfect”, that’s what my Mom would say, then she would follow that statement by explaining that Jesus was the only perfect person and without Him no one could be righteous. It is the height of deception to think that a person could be sinless and that kind of deception would keep us from the truth. May we acknowledge our sin and receive the truth is my prayer.
