1 Chronicles 12:38

All these, being men of war who could draw up in battle formation, came to Hebron with a perfect heart to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one mind to make David king.

Now here’s a recipe of success for God’s people; people who are ready for spiritual warfare, have a clean and pure heart, and are in unity. If the church of today would live out these three things there is no limit to what we could accomplish for the kingdom. If we would take the spiritual battle we are in seriously and prepare ourselves daily for that battle we could defeat the enemy on every front. If we would allow the Holy Spirit to cleanse our hearts and minds we could stay full of the Holy Spirit and be used in the gifts of the Spirit more readily. And, if we would come into unity with the body of Christ there would be no more place for the spirit of rebellion to disrupt the work of the Church. May we commit ourselves to being what God wants us to be is my prayer.
