1 Corinthians 16:13 

Be on alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

Over and again we are warned in scripture to be alert, to be on the lookout for the attacks of the enemy. Paul adds that we should stand firm in our position of faith, be mature, and to be strong. Our enemy uses gorilla warfare tactics against us, he does not fight fare. He attacks when we least expect it, from places we’re unaware of, and through people we can’t believe he is using. No matter what, how or when he attacks we are to be ready for anything and as mature people of faith we are to be strong. As we heed the words of Paul we will be victorious and our enemies will be defeated on every front. May we stay alert and defeat the enemy on every front is my prayer.
