1 John 2:17

The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.

Everything that men seem to strive for is temporary. Land, cars, money, fame, all of it, temporary. When this age comes to an end, and it will soon, those who will spend eternity in Heaven will be those who have loved God more than anything. It will be those who have followed Christ and given Him everything. As we watch the world pass away we can rest in the fact that there is an eternal home awaiting those who are faithfully following Christ. May we continue in the will of God as we march toward Heaven is my prayer.
