1 Kings 13:18,19

He said to him, “I also am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'” But he lied to him. (19) So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house and drank water.

It is so important that we learn to hear the voice of God for ourselves. There are so many voices in our world that will lead us astray, even prophets, that we must become in tune with God’s voice. Knowing His voice will keep us from making bad decisions and missing His will. Knowing God’s voice removes the fog produced by the noise of this world and clears our spiritual vision. Spend time getting to know God’s voice so that you can see clearly to follow Him.  May we tune in to God is my prayer.
