1 Kings 4:29

God gave Solomon wisdom, the deepest of understanding, and the largest of hearts.

Solomon’s desire to lead God’s people with wisdom was not only granted by God but his heart for God’s people was rewarded with great riches as well. What we ask God for reveals what’s in our heart and the heart is what God judges. We should be in the pursuit of God’s heart, molding ours to His as we learn of Him. The ways of this world tend to destroy true love so we must guard our heart and nurture the virtues of Christ. May we allow God to create in us wisdom, understanding, and compassion is my prayer.
