1 Samuel 23:28

So Saul returned from pursuing David And went to meet the Philistines; therefore they called that place the Rock of Escape.

When David and his men were surrounded by Saul’s army and were about to be destroyed, God made a way of escape for David as He drew Saul’s army away. They called this place “the Rock of Escape”. God is always the Rock of Escape for His people. When we are trapped and about to be overtaken He moves mountains if necessary, but He always makes a way of Escape. May we call out to Him in our time of need and find our “Rock of Escape” is my prayer.
