2 Thessalonians 2:16,17
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, (17) Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
There seems to be a lot of people who think that once you’ve prayed the sinners prayer you can check off the Christian box and move ahead with your life as if nothing has changed. This couldn’t be farther from the truth of God’s Word. Salvation produces new life, everything changes, the old life goes away and new life is born. With our new life comes a new word, or conversation if you will, and a new work. Our new work is the same as the One we are following, that is to do the will of the Father. As you head out into another day take the good Word of the Gospel and do the good work of you heavenly Father. May we be true servants of the most High God is my prayer.
Keeping it Real!
