And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

It’s amazing how we always make everything about our selves. It seems to be a part of our human makeup to think that the world revolves around us when that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The truth is that the everything revolves around God. The good news about that is that the battle your going through right now is not really yours, it’s God’s. The deeper truth to every attack on our life is that Satan is warring against God and we are caught up in the middle of the battle. What we should be doing is trusting God with the battle. We can’t defeat the enemy on our own but when we trust God with the battle we can’t lose. May we find peace in knowing that God is the Captain of this army.
