2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When our lives go in undesirable paths, we’re told that we can turn over a new leaf. Turning over a new leaf may feel good and with some work it may be a short term answer to a messed up life but for the kind of change that lasts, a new leaf won’t do the trick. What’s really needed is a new life and only Jesus can offer that. He can literally make us a new creature and that lasts forever!  May we give ourselves fully to Jesus is my prayer.
