2 Chronicles 31:21

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

Half-hearted, second best effort never caused anybody to proser. Oh, it may get you by for a while and you may be able to maintain what you have with lackluster effort but prosperity will flee you. Prosperity happens when we put forth our best effort, when we put our heart into what we’re doing, and when we spend our energy on achieving our goal. Prospering spiritually is no different, we must put our whole heart and soul into pursuing God. When we seek Him with all that is within us, we will find Him. May we always give God our best is my prayer.
