2 Chronicles 19
Even so I’m bold to ask: Pay attention to these my prayers, both intercessory and personal. O God, my God. (The Message)
Our prayer life should include times of personal conversation with God where we pour out out hearts to Him. During our times of prayer there should also be times when we intercede on the behalf of others. Our family, fellow christians, friends, and coworkers need someone praying for them. There are times when people cannot pray or don’t know how to pray or maybe they don’t have a relationship with God and need someone to pray for them. That’s where we “stand in the hedge and make up the gap” for them. The most powerful thing we can do is to pray for someone. May we build a strong prayer life is my prayer.
