Matthew 16:25

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

When the preacher asked the question, “who would like to give their life to Jesus?”, he got it right! Jesus is the one who gave us life and we should gladly give our lives back to Him. Putting our own desires aside to fulfill His desires, replacing the temporal with the eternal, and leaving the bondage of sin to serve Him in the freedom of holiness is what real life is all about. May we freely give ourselves completely to God is my prayer.
