2 Kings 18:5,6

Hezekiah put his whole trust in the God of Israel. There was no king quite like him, either before or after. He held fast to God, never loosened his grip and obeyed to the letter everything God had commanded Moses. And God, for his part, held fast to him through all his adventures. 

What an awesome thing to be able to say about someone’s life, a legacy of serving and trusting God. The key to Hezekiah’s spiritual success may be found in this one small statement, “he held fast to God, never loosened his grip and obeyed God’s commandments”. What are you gripping tightly today? If it’s not God, make Him the focus of your pursuit. Pursuing Him and His ways is the secret to lifelong success. May we seek God with all our heart is my prayer.
