2 Kings 6:16

He said, “Don’t worry about it, there are more on our side than on their side.”

Because of Elisha’s faith in God and his dedication to serving Him, he knew that even when the odds were stacked against him God’s army was protecting him. If we could see by the Spirit the way Elisha did, we would see angels encamped around us and a mighty army fighting for us. Whether we see it or not, God is doing battle for us in the heavens. He protects us when we’re not even aware of the dangers around us, and He fights for us while we sleep. Know this, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me. It may look like we’re outnumbered but we never really are. May we trust in the protection of God is my prayer.
