Philippians 2:12,13

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Are you working out? That’s a question you usually hear about your physical body but Paul was speaking about your spiritual life when he said, “work out your salvation”. God is at work in us and He expects us to join in on the work as we pursue our Christian walk. It’s God’s pleasure to to work in us and it should be our joy as well to work with The Holy Spirit in developing our spiritual life. May we roll up our sleeves and go to work is my prayer.
