Even then, though, Jehu wasn’t careful to walk in God’s ways and honor the God of Israel from an undivided heart. He didn’t turn back from the sins of Jeroboam son of Neat, who led Israel into a life of sin. (The Message)

A divided heart will get you in trouble every time. Having a divided heart causes instability on every level of life and causes us to lose proper focus. God honors those who have a wholly devoted heart to Him, those who are sold out, if you will. Our God is a jealous God and He shares His throne with no one or nothing. Don’t let anything come between God and your love for Him. Fill your heart with love and devotion for God and give yourself totally to Him and His will. May we sell out to God is my prayer.
