The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

One of my mentors used a phrase that has stuck with me; he would say, “don’t let the devil lick the sweet off of your candy”. During the holidays it seems that a lot of people suffer from depression and loneliness. Focusing on the past or what we don’t have can always cause sadness and depression. To avoid these pitfalls, focus on Jesus, what He has done for you, and what He has in store for you. May life stay sweet is my prayer.
