Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

I’ve been asked many times why there are so many different churches; Baptist, Catholic, Episcopal, Assembly of God, non-denominational and the list goes on and on. The answer is complexed. Most often the reason for the different churches is because of doctrinal distinctions. Some believe in divine healing, some don’t, some believe in speaking tongues, some don’t, some believe in the rapture of the church, some don’t and so forth. Personalities play a role in why we have so many different churches as well. Some like one Pastor, some like another. These are just a few of the reasons why there are so many different churches and there are many more reasons as well. The one thing that all churches must agree upon is the lordship of Jesus Christ. Without Him as Lord the church is nothing. His name is the only one we can be saved by. May we bow before Christ as Lord and Savior is my prayer.
