Acts 2:38,39

Peter said, “Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away—whomever, in fact, our Master God invites.”

Peter’s answer to those who had rejected Jesus when they asked what they should do was simple and direct: repent of your sins, be water baptized, and receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. His answer still rings true today, if you’ve been living alienated from God, today is the day and now is the time to repent, be baptized in water, and receive the Holy Spirit so that you might have eternal life through Christ. May we all be saved is my prayer.
