Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Sharing the Gospel is not like sharing our rendition of some storybook tale. When the Gospel is shared it releases with it the anointing God has placed on His Word. The anointing, in turn, breaks the yoke that is on the hearer and frees them from their sin, thus saving the lost. No storybook tale has that kind of power. There’s a line in one of the Star Wars movies where Darth Vader says, “don’t under estimate the power of the dark side”. We found out later in the movie that he was wrong about the dark side, but let me encourage you to not under estimate the power of the Gospel! Share it with the lost and watch how the anointing sets people free. May we boldly proclaim the Gospel of Christ is my prayer.
