Ecclesiastes 7:14

On a good day, enjoy yourself; on a bad day, examine your conscience. God arranges for both kinds of days so that we won’t take anything for granted.

The joys of life can evaporate so quickly. One day I was enjoying the most beautiful sun filled day watching my kids play on their grandparents ranch. Fifteen minutes after a good conversation with my Dad I was performing CPR on him. That day went from awesome to awful when my Dad passed away in my arms. Live each moment like you might not get the next and take nothing for granted. Life is shorter than you think and nothing lasts forever except what we have with God. May we give life our best today and give God our all everyday is my prayer.
