Today's Reading: Exodus 1-5

Exodus 1:17

17 But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live.

In a world full of people who care so much about what other people think about them, God is still looking for people who care more about what He thinks than anyone else. "God's ways are higher than our ways" and as such His opinion of us is not swayed by public opinion but rather by the faith of His people. Doing God's will may not make everybody happy, but it always gets God's attention! May we seek to please God, not people, is my prayer.
