Ezekiel 14:3

“Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts and have put right before their faces the stumbling block of their iniquity. Should I be consulted by them at all?

We have a new dynamic at our house that was created when we started putting our grandchildren in time-out for misbehaving. They hate it! There’s something about being put in a place to have to think about what you’ve done that is painful and the isolation from their grandparents seems unbearable. Don’t make God put you in time-out, deal with your sins so that God doesn’t have to ignore you. May we keep the lines of communication open between us and God is my prayer.
