2 Peter 3:2

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Many people seem to dismiss what the Prophets and Apostles have said to the church. Their reasoning for this is that their words were for another time or season and conclude that their words are not for us today. Some even say that because of cultural shifts their thoughts don’t apply and are outdated for our current times. However the Bible itself declares that it is good for every time and season, that it never fails, that it’s the same yesterday, today and forever, and it will not come back void. May we listen to every word God has given us is my prayer.
