Ezekiel 24:13

In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you, and you were not cleansed, you will not be cleansed of your filthiness anymore, till I have caused My fury to rest upon you.

Years ago I heard a message preached entitled, “The side of God you don’t want to know”. It’s focus was on the judgements of God and how He hates sin. Sin is what caused His Son, Jesus, to have to die on the cross, and it is the only thing that separates man from God. God loves us enough to not let us alone in our sins, “He is not willing that any should perish” the scripture says. So, God will chastise us with the hope that the chastisement will get our attention and we will return to Him. It behooves us all to discipline ourselves so that we won’t have to be chastised by God. May we shun the very appearance of evil and walk in the light of the Gospel is my prayer.
