Ezekiel 34:31

“As for you, My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, you are men, and I am your God,” declares the Lord God.

God likens His relationship with us to a shepherd’s relationship with His sheep. The responsibility of the shepherd is to: lead the sheep, feed the sheep, and protect the sheep. The responsibility of the sheep is to follow the shepherd, receive what He provides for us, and to rest under the Shepherd’s protection. It’s an awesome arrangement for us! May we trust our Shepherd is my prayer.
