Ezekiel 11:19,20
And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.
Several years ago I grabbed a package of DingDongs for a quick breakfast. It was early in the morning and still dark when I opened the package and took a bite. To my utter surprise and disgust the taste was way wrong. When I turned on the dome light in my truck I discovered that the chocolate coating was hiding a green rotten filling on the inside. Our hearts can get like that and the only One who can put a new heart in us is God. May we let God renew our heart is my prayer.
