Genesis 39:2

The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. 

How could we not be successful if God is with us? The only way that could happen is if we don’t understand what success is. Joseph was left for dead, sold into slavery, falsely accused of attempted rape, and imprisoned; was he successful at that time? Yes! Just because he was enduring hardship that did not negate the fact that he was in God’s will and accomplishing a much greater thing than anyone knew. May we leave success up to God and do His will is my prayer.
