Genesis 45:24

Then he sent his brothers off. As they left he told them, “Take it easy on the journey; try to get along with each other.”

Here’s a powerful thought passed down to us from Joseph, “Try to get along with each other.” This advice comes from a man who was raised in a disfunctional family with siblings who tried to kill him. If anyone knows how hard it can be to get along with everybody, he does. Not everyone we come in contact with is going to be our best friend and not everyone is easy to get along with but we can certainly try. We are not responsible for how people react to us, but we are responsible for how we act towards others. May we do our best to get along with everybody is my prayer.
