Genesis 6:5,6 

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (6) And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.

Sin, the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. It destroys families, robs us of our health, creates enmity between brothers, starts wars, divides people groups, and when unrepented it sentences souls to hell. As if that’s not enough, the worse thing of all about sin is that it grieves the heart of God. When we sin, God hurts. He hurts because it reminds Him of the pain and suffering His Son had to endure on the cross so that our sins could be washed away. It was our sins that brought God His greatest pain and it it our sins that remind Him of that pain every time we miss the mark. May we live holy and righteous before God is my prayer.
