James 1:11

For the sun rises with a scorching wind and withers the grass; and its flower falls off and the beauty of it s appearance is destroyed; so too the rich man in the midst of his pursuits will fade away.

A man gets up, gets himself ready, and goes out to work. He’s done this thousands of times, producing income for his family and building a name for himself. But one day, it all comes to a sudden stop when he has a heart attack and dies. In that moment nothing he has ever done matters except for what he’s done for the kingdom of God. With out God his work will have meant nothing, his achievements will have been vain, and his life will have ended as a tragedy. Don’t let your life be wasted in years of pursuing an empty success. Decide today to follow Christ, and begin making every day count for God. May we turn from sin and to the living God is my prayer.
