Hebrews 4:2

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.

It’s one thing to hear the Word of God but there’s a big difference between hearing the Word of God and believing the Word of God. Faith is what separates the two. Hearing is only the first step toward salvation but believing is what raises us to new life in Christ. We put our faith in doctors to cut us open and work on us, we put faith in dentists to drill holes in our teeth and fill them back up, and we put faith in total strangers to not run into us with their cars, isn’t it time we trust God? Put your faith in the One who gave His Son to die for your sins. May we have faith in God is my prayer.
