Ephesians 5:2

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

The proof of love is in the willingness to sacrifice for someone else. Giving up our dreams for someone else’s, forgoing our desires to fulfill another’s, or submitting our will to the will of God are all ways of showing our love. Christ gave His all for us to prove His love and we should be no different. May our sacrifices match the level of our love is my prayer.
