Hosea 6:6 (the Message)

I’m after love that lasts, not more religion. I want you to know God, not go to more prayer meetings.

There seems to be a lot of people who think that by going to church on Sunday they are on their way to Heaven and everything is ok. God makes it clear that there are no certain religious things that you can do that will give you access to Heaven. Accepting Christ as Savior and committing our lives to following Him as our Lord is the only way to gain Heaven. Church activity, prayer, and Bible study all serve to enhance our walk with Christ, but religious activity does not take the place a loving relationship with Christ. May we love God and serve Him accordingly is my prayer.
