Hebrews 11:1,2

The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.

Faith is not some mystical religious feeling, it is the action of putting our trust in God. “The act of faith” is what gets the attention of God; stepping out on the water, running toward Goliath, and sleeping in the lions den. Action, not mere words about believing, is “the act of faith”. May our actions match our words of faith is my prayer.
