Isaiah 16:5
In mercy the throne will be established; and One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.
I’m so glad we serve a merciful King. The Old Testament describes kings as good and bad, merciful and ruthless. The way those kings ruled determined whether God blessed their country or not. The King we serve today is Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His rulership is one of love, mercy, justice, righteousness, and forgiveness. It is because of Him that we are blessed! May we receive of and be thankful for His mercy is my prayer.
Keeping it Real!
