Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

One of the best qualities we can have is to be a good listener. Listening shows that we care about others and elevates their feeling of importance. Listening also gives time for the Holy Spirit to speak to us before we speak, producing wisdom. Being a good listener makes the words we speak more valuable to the hearer. May we concentrate on being a good listener is my prayer.
