Isaiah 23:1-3 (the Message)

Danger ahead! God’s about to ravish the earth and leave it in ruins, rip everything out by the roots and send everyone scurrying: priests and laypeople alike, owners and workers alike, celebrities and nobodies alike, buyers and sellers alike, bankers and beggars alike, the haves and have-nots alike. The landscape will be a moonscape, totally wasted. And why? Because God says so. He’s issued the orders.

I guess that people have forgotten a very important little piece of information; no one escapes judgement for sin without Christ! It makes no difference who you are, how much money you have, or what you’ve accomplished. If you have not committed your service to Christ, allowed His blood to wash away your sins, and are not following Him, you will be judged accordingly. Those who have will escape the wrath that is to come. May we be washed in the blood of the Lamb, and found serving Christ is my prayer.
