Isaiah 30:18

Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.  For the Lord is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.

If you’re looking for justice in this world you can forget it. Often times the one who is innocent ends up being found guilty, the hardest worker doesn’t always get the promotion, or the most deserving doesn’t get the award. That’s how this world system works, we’re not always properly awarded, but rather the undeserving seem to get ahead while the deserving are neglected. Not so with God; our God is just and rewards people according to their deeds, not the deeds of someone else. And by the way, He longs to be gracious to you and to pour out His compassion on you. May we be faithful as we await the righteous judgement of God is my prayer.
