Isaiah 9:2

The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.

The clock on the front of our microwave oven is lit up with blue led light, that light can be seen at the other end of our house at night. That tiny light seems to reach everywhere. Although our world may be filled with the darkness of sin and depravity, the light of the Gospel reaches everywhere. It finds it’s way to the darkest hidden places of this world. It penetrates men’s hearts exposing the sin and revealing righteousness to us. It brings hope and life to all who receive it. May we enjoy the light as it shines on us is my prayer.
