Nehemiah 8:10

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Everybody goes through hard times and rough situations but the thing that carries the Christian through is the joy of the Lord. Happiness will flee us and sadness will overcome us at times, but joy abides forever. Joy comes from deep within those who have the revelation of Jesus and His joy sustains and strengthens us. May we be filled with joy is my prayer.
