John 1:6-8

6 There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

John’s life is a refreshing look at someone who put God’s mission ahead of his own desires. John’s purpose in life was not fame or fortune or some self willed goal, the thing that drove him was the testimony of the Gospel. God is still looking for dedicated servants who will testify about Him, will you be like John? May we testify about what Christ has done for us is my prayer.
