Jeremiah 29:12,13
12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
You can’t hide your heart from God! He alone judges your heart and it’s your heart that gets His attention. When we call on God out of a pure heart He will respond to us. Often times our casual “drive by” prayers never reach God’s ears because they’re prayed without truly turning the attention of our heart to God. Instead of trying to mask our pains and failures with heartless religious prayers, we should open our heart to God and pour our true feelings out to Him. It is then that He will hear us and we will find Him. May we call upon God with a pure heart is my prayer.
