Matthew 8:22 (KJV)

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Jesus is our ultimate example of wielding influence. His three years of ministry are still influencing the world today. Not only did He get people to follow Him but He used His time with them to mentor them in the ways of God. This kind of influence takes time and effort but the rewards are eternal. May we use our influence to lead others in the ways of God is my prayer.
