Job 40:1

God then addressed Job directly: “Now what do you have to say for yourself?”

Each and every one of us will one day stand before God in judgement, in that moment we will have to give an account of our lives. We will be required to answer for our deeds, our words, and for every sin we’ve committed. Sounds like no big deal if we were answering a mere person but the one we will be answering to will be seated on the throne of Heaven in all His majesty. God will be the one to determine our eternal home. The only way an imperfect human will be able to escape the judgement of hell is through Jesus! He is the only answer to the question of “what do you have to say for yourself” that will suffice. His perfection is the key to heaven and only He can save us from the wrath that is to come. May we trust Jesus with all our heart and serve Him with all our might is my prayer.
