Judges 6:2

The power of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of Midian the sons of Israel made for themselves the dens which were in the mountains and the caves and the strongholds. 

This is what happens when we let fear take hold of our hearts, we barricade ourselves and hide when what God wants us to do is to fight. Giving in to fear only strengthens the fear, while resisting the fear strengthens our faith. The odds may be against us and the enemies may be many but our God is able to do anything, including strengthening us. May we trust God and never hide from our enemies is my prayer.
