Joshua 11:23

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord had spoken to Moses, and Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. Thus the land had rest from war.

This seems to be God’s pattern for the success of His people; 1)Take on His vision. 2)Carry out His plan. 3)Reap the rewards of obedience. 4)Rest. Whatever plan God has for your life, you can trust Him to lead you through to victory. Our role is to take on His vision, follow His plan and enjoy His blessings. This pattern is not always easy, as a matter of fact it may be wrought with battles all along the way but the end for God’s people is always the same. Rest! May we find our rest in God is my prayer.
