Luke 19:5

When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

Zaccheus changed his perspective when he put in the effort to climb a tree. The effort he put in to see Jesus not only changed his perspective but it also changed Jesus perspective of him. Zaccheus stood out in the crowd, not because he was tall, but because he desired to know Jesus no matter what it took. It takes effort to rise above the crowd but it’s worth it. May we get the attention of Jesus is my prayer.
